Description
Connected Culture and Natural Heritage in a Northern Environment (CINE) was a collaborative digital heritage project funded by the Northern Periphery and Artic Programme between 9 partners and 10 associated partners between 2017-2020. CINE transformed people’s experiences with outdoor heritage sites through “museum without walls” technology, allowing the visualisation of effects the changing environment has on heritage sites, which helps to imagines possible futures.

The aim of the project was to better understand the cultural, scientific and social relationships between the EU and LAC regions and ran from 2016 to 2021. In its final year it won the Europa Nostra Ilucidare Special Prize for Heritage-led International Relations.

The West Highland Museum 100 project showcases digital cultural heritage from the Western Highlands of Scotland. This collaboration between West Highland Museum and the University of St Andrews is exploring new ways of interacting with heritage, taking the museum experience into the home.
