Description

Inscribed fragment, surviving letters M P, E, S and part F. The letters were once painted red. The original panel was more than five metres long and was placed over the East gate of the fort. Carpow legionary fortress excavation, Abernethy, Perth and Kinross. This object is currently cared for by the McManus Museum.
