SitsimLab is a research & development project at the Department of Media & Communication, University of Oslo. From 2008 the department has experimented with and published advanced world class augmented reality (AR) systems for use in cultural and natural heritage, employing both past historical scenes and events as well as future scenarios for climate change. The research is particularly focused on designing innovative narratives and rhetorical devices for AR use in museums and in site-specific contexts.
