SUMMARY:Interreg Annual Event 2022
DESCRIPTION:  \nInterreg Annual Event 2022 will take place in Brussels\, at La Maison de La Poste\, Rue Picard 5/7\, 1000 Brussels\, Belgium\, with the possibility to follow online\, on Wednesday 26\, Thursday 27 and Friday 28 October 2022. \nThis year as last\, the event will be held in hybrid format (except some sessions that will not be available on-line). However\, we hope to see very many of you join us on-site in an amazing building that has recently been totally refurbished with great taste. The event is called “Interreg: better together” to highlight once more that cooperation is central to our European response to today’s challenges. \nOn 26 October 2022\, Commissioner Elisa Ferreira will open the event with a welcome speech. Other plenary sessions will be dedicated to the New European Bauhaus\, community involvement in Interreg\, overcoming barriers in our minds. There will also be moments to celebrate several anniversaries: IPA CBC\, Inter-regional cooperation. \nFor more intimate sessions\, there will be three hybrid workshops as well as five on-site “Experience Rooms” showcasing some of Interreg’s innovative projects in diverse fields such as creative industries\, social innovation\, gaming or smart technology. \nTo mark this year’s European Year of Youth\, we will dedicate an entire morning to exchanges with young people involved in Interreg or not and listen to some of their concerns and proposals. \nTo complete the exciting working programme\, special networking moments will be on offer such as a visit to the Gare Maritime (for NEB inspiration) and to a local brewery. Not to forget several exhibitions of interest to our Interreg family and a permanent offer in the local cinema. \nPROGRAMME

SUMMARY:International Seminar: Picasso and Applied Arts
DESCRIPTION:International Seminar: Picasso and Applied Arts\n17 and 18 November 2022 | MPM Auditorium\, Malaga\, Spain\n  \nIf you are curious how to digitally research and virtually reconstruct Picasso’s sculptures in landscape/urban surroundings in 3D\, join us during the International Seminar: Picasso and Applied Arts in Malaga. \nIs the classic debate between so-called high and low culture still relevant? Under what terms are collaborations between artists and artisans for the production of serialised objects carried out? To what extent are these exclusive works of art conceived to be used? \nBy addressing generic issues and specific cases\, the aim of this seminar is to provide a more precise understanding of Pablo Picasso’s interest in serialised works and to address problems arising from the relationship between the conventional art of the museum and the applied arts today. \nSeminar organised in collaboration with the Fundación General de la Universidad de Málaga\, led by Pepe Karmel\, professor of Art History at New York University.
